General Information

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
We ask that all users read our FAQs in the Forum Help section. If your question is not answered there, you can ask your question in the correct thread or send a PM or email to any members of the HabboHut management.

Users Expectations
Users are expected to respect other users views, opinions and values, and not directly attack or bully a user because of a post they may have made. We are a community and do not resort to conflict. If you do not have anything nice to say, then do not say it at all. You may disagree with someone's post, but not take it to the extent where they may get hurt or upset over it.

Administrators
The Administrators of the forum have the ability and reserve the right to access your account remotely, and monitor anything you do specifically. This includes private messages you send and receive, reputation comments and any other information you may have on your account. If administrators carry out these procedures, your information is strictly kept with us and will not be shared with any third parties which is apart of our Privacy Policy that is explained in General Site Policies. Administrators will carry out these procedures if they feel it necessary.

Moderators
Our team of Moderators and Administrators will deal with all respected issues. Moderators have the ability to monitor any content which is publicly posted on the forum, and reputation comments you have received. Moderators have excellent knowledge of the rules. Any actions of discipline will only be carried out with support of these rules, and policies.

HabboHut Forum Rules

These rules apply to every aspect of the forum. Anyone who breaks these forum rules may have their post/comment/content deleted. In addition you may receive a warning, an infraction, a temporary ban or a permanent ban, depending on the seriousness of the offense.
1. It is strictly forbidden to give out others passwords, email addresses, messenger contacts, personal photos or other details such as your location or phone number.

You are allowed to post personal photos of yourself, and give out social networking profile's if you choose in the "Social Networking" or "Upload" forums. Habbohut takes no responsibly for this content, but will happily remove any content upon the reporting of that content to our moderation team. Photo's posted into the "Upload forum" must not contain any personally identifiable information such as school name, for example.
2. It is strictly forbidden to publish ANY Habbo Staff personal information.
3. It is strictly forbidden to offer or encourage the use of Hacking, Scripting or Editing Programs to edit Habbo Hotel in any way.
4. It is strictly forbidden to support or create ANY Habbo Retro site
5. It is strictly forbidden to trick other Habbos into giving you their passwords, Habbo Credits or furniture.
6. It is strictly forbidden to give away, trade or sell your Habbo account.
7. It is strictly forbidden to offer to trade furni for money.
8. It is strictly forbidden to publish any personal information, pictures, video or documents belonging to Sulake Ltd.
9. It is strictly forbidden to use slander or any other form of bullying in order to harass other people.
10. It is strictly forbidden to publish ANY details of Habbo’s internal systems, moderation policies or any information not released to the public.
11. Do not disrespect the opinion or belief of another member. You can disagree, but do not abuse another member for what they think.
12. Do not make off topic comments. Your post must be relevant to the subject matter of the topic. This rule does not apply to the Spam Forum.
13. Do not swear or use racist or offensive terms.
14. Do not describe sexual acts to other Habbos or publish any material which may be offensive to other users or contains sexual content.
15. Do not publish any news regarding updates, new furni, features without the permission of HabboHut management who will gain consent of Sulake Ltd
16. Do not break the law or talk others into breaking it.
17. Do not get involved with rule breaking, leave that for the moderators to deal with.
18. Do not post in the wrong forum. Be careful where you are posting. If you accidentally post in the wrong forum simply use the report button and explain what you have done.
19. Do not misuse the reputation system. Any pointless reputation without giving comments may be deleted.
20. Do not post links to inappropriate websites, videos or images. Our Moderators reserve the right to remove any links posted throughout the site, this includes but isn't limited to hosting companies, threatening sites, unofficial fansites, etc.
-Even though you can't post links to unofficial fansites, you're allowed to state these sites by name.

21. Do not upload signatures that are exceedingly large. Management/moderators will remove all images that they think are to large.
22. Do not upload avatars or signatures containing swearing, sexual content, or medium level violent content.
23. We encourage you to engage in discussion. Reply to threads, and create threads productive to that forum.
24. We encourage you to report posts that are breaking any of the rules to help moderators do their jobs.
25. We encourage you to post ideas in the HabboHut Ideas and Suggestions forum.
26. We encourage you to give us feedback in the Opinions forum to help improve HabboHut.
27. We encourage you to make friends with as many people as you can in the community.
28. We encourage you to visit our forum community frequently!

Other Forum Information

Cyber Bullying
Cyber Bullying is strictly not tolerated on the forums. Like conventional bullying, cyber bullying can cause psychological damage leading to behavioural problems and even self-harm. Things that class as cyber bullying are:
• Harassment
• Flaming
• Bullying
• Deformation of character
Spamming and Double Posting
Spamming (stupid pointless annoying messages) and double posting (posting in a thread two or more times in a row) is not encouraged on the forums. Spam and double posts will be deleted by a Moderator.

Reporting
For the well-being and safety of our users, we encourage users to report anyone that break the Forum Rules and/or the General Site Policies. This is to maintain a nice friendly environment. Allegations of cyber bullying, attempting to scam, suggesting to put someone else's life, forum or Habbo account in danger should be reported to the Forum Manager Jason and the Head of Staff Mariaaa by sending them a CC private message.

General Site Policies

Privacy Policy


General Privacy
Any information that you give us voluntarily or that we collect technically is confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the organisation for any reason except in a legal or security-related situation.

Site Database
The site collects information for anonymous listener statistics and site usage IP address logs (for statistical and security related purposes). All information is only viewable by site administrators and management, but not available to DJs or others a part of the HabboHut organisation.

Forum Information
Any information you give us via the HabboHut Forum is confidential and is strictly not shared with anyone outside of the organisation. Moderators and Administrators are the only ones that are able to view any information you enter on registration to the forum. Accounts will not be deleted from our database for security reasons, unless serious issues occur with that account that break the law. Because of vBulletin Software, it is required you enter your email upon registration for activation of your account (this is in place for security-related reasons). In some instances, an Administrator may send you an email but you can choose to not receive emails from us in your Account Options.



Radio Policy


DJs and Shows
All of our DJs must follow our Radio Policy and the Habbo and Fansite Way at all times. Our policy is that DJs must not play songs of an offensive nature that includes the playing of very offensive swear words. All DJs are required to have a background check from Habbo before they are allowed to go on air and are given access to sensitive information.


Shout Outs and Requests
During shows, listeners are able to send in shout outs and requests to the online DJ. You must follow the Radio Policy and the Habbo and Fansite Way when submitting any shout outs and requests. Abuse of this system will result in the online DJ banning you from the system for 2 hours. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned from using the system by an Administrator. When reading shout outs, DJs will not read offensive or swear words and will not promote discrimination by reading racial comments, jokes, etc.

HabboHut management reserves the right to edit, remove or add any forum rules as they see fit. The HabboHut management will post a public forum announcement if there are any changes with the forum rules.
